BEGINNING OF WORD OF THE LORD FOR THE YEAR

I started giving the “Word of the Lord” for the year in 1988. In the beginning it was just for our Christian International Network. I still remember the heading for that first year : “Update, Relate and Activate in 1988.”

A few years later, a few other prophets and prophetic ministers started doing the same, and now 32 years later, hundreds around the world are giving a word from the Lord for the year.

Some yearly prophecies are decrees that take years to fulfill.

We kept records of all the pages of prophetic words given over the years. One year I took time to read all the prophetic words that had been given for the previous 12 years. We noticed that the prophetic words given for the current year did not always come to pass in that year. However, as we researched, we found that they did come to pass around two to five years later. It revealed that some of the prophetic words are decrees from heaven that this year, a new season of God’s purposes for the Church begins and may take years before reaching the fullness of their fulfillment.

PERSONAL PROPHECIES ARE CONDITIONAL, PROGRESSIVE & PARTIAL

I wrote in my book Prophets & Personal Prophecy, which was first published in 1987, that personal prophecy has three major characteristics: it is always conditional, partial and progressive. Chapter 13 gives a detailed study of the three characteristics, including biblical examples, explanations and personal experiences showing their validity. Prophecies to nations, and prophecies about things that are going to happen to people and places, function by the same three characteristics. In addition, some are meant to come to pass immediately, some over a period of years, and some will be fulfilled by your descendants. I have found this to be true in the more than 2000 pages of personal prophecies I have received from others from 1952 to 2021–69 years.

2020 PANDEMIC – 2021 COMING GLORY

During the 2020 pandemic shutdowns, I communicated by video chat with more than 100 prophets, including most of the major prophets around the world. We are all in agreement that the Church is on the verge of the greatest manifestation of God’s glory and power ever demonstrated to the world by the Church. It will be like combining all the restoration movements that have taken place during the last 500 years into a symbolic 1000-foot tidal wave of God’s glory that shall sweep across the world. It will not stop until the great harvest is reaped and the kingdom of God is demonstrated with great power as a witness to everyone that Jesus Christ is the only true God and Savior for mankind.

WHAT IS AHEAD FOR THE CHURCH IN 2021 AND BEYOND?

God spoke to me that just as the pandemic was universal, so would be the manifestation of God’s glory and power. He also stated that those who were overcomers during the pandemic would be the ones that God would choose to demonstrate His glory. If they cannot live victorious during the pandemic, then they will not be able to handle the demonstrating of God’s glory.

Just as the pandemic fulfilled the prophecy in Hebrews 12:27 that God was going to shake everything that can be shaken (in 2020 everything was shaken in all 7 mountains of culture), even so shall the awakening glory beginning in 2021 fulfill God’s decree in Numbers 14:21: “Truly, as I live all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.” Habakkuk 2:14 says “Earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” God is saying, once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven. As the pandemic caused a shaking in the earth, now the glory awakening will cause a shaking in the heavens. Be watchful in the future for signs in the natural heavens and supernatural signs and wonders in the church (Eph.2:6).

• 2021: Church will get brighter as the world continues to get darker. Is.61:1-3
• 2021: The prophecy Jesus gave in Mt.24:5-13 concerning world conditions will continue to increase until Mt.25: 14 is fulfilled and the Kingdom of God demonstrated!
• 2021: The Christians who understand and properly related to what Jesus was seeking to accomplish in His Church and individuals in 2020 will be able to demonstrate the glory of God and live victoriously in spite the chaos going on in the world. Keep empowered by reading Scriptures and praying in your spirit language.
• 2021: Be equipped for war and ready to do spiritual warfare. The Third Reformation that began in 2008 progressed the Church into their promised Canaan Land where they did warfare until they fulfilled God’s purpose to possess their inheritance which was Canaan. The Church’s inheritance is earth and its kingdoms. (Re.5:10; 11:15; 19:11-21. Daniel 7:9-10, 14, 18, 22, 26-27; Mt.5:5)
• 2021: Holy Spirit is challenging all Christians to become full believers by manifesting the supernatural as Mark 16:16-20 and 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 declare. It is not an option anymore. It is absolutely necessary! Manifest and minister your supernatural talent/gift (1Peter 4:10). Now use them or lose them (Mt.25:14-30). Using them results in receiving the rewards of a faithful servant! Not using them results in receiving God’s judgments for being an unfaithful and fearful servant.
• 2021: Apostles must begin to demonstrate the signs of an apostle, which include signs, wonders and miracles. If we take the title, we must manifest the wisdom and works of an apostle. The same is true for every pastor, evangelist and teacher. We have entered the Third & Final Reformation. God’s requirements are full Biblical standards for all saints and five-fold ministers.
• 2021: All Christian ministers must major in equipping the saints in their supernatural gifts and ministries. Must teach and train saints how to do spiritual warfare, how to wear their defensive armor and how to use their offensive weapons of their shield and sword, prayer, praise, and shout of faith.
• 2021: Prophets move to a higher level and anointing in prophetic words with greater specifics and accuracy, bringing impartation and activation within those receiving the prophecy. Christlikeness is now required for continuing ministry.

WORLD WAR-III:

In the mid-90s, Prophet Cindy Jacobs prophesied that God had made Bill Hamon a five-star general in God’s army of saints. A few months later, two prophets prophesied to me that I was to go to the Pacific Rim nations and lead the churches in corporate spiritual warfare to stop the plans of Satan. I was to go to these nations and do spiritual warfare against Satan’s plans. When I sought the Lord about that word from the Lord, He revealed that there were three nations, two were communist and one was Muslim. They were trying to make a tri-lateral agreement like Germany, Japan and Italy did in WW11. He said we were to continue until God let us know that we had won the war. We kept going to the Pacific Rim nations of South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, California, and Alaska. We did most of our warfare from Singapore because it was the closest nation to China which we felt was one of the communist nations, and we had the most freedom to do public warfare.

We did this continuously from 1996 until the spring of 2001. Then the Lord said that we had confused their communication and destroyed the demons that were inspiring the leaders of those nations and, therefore, there would be no Third World War as Satan had planned to launch between 1996 and 2002. When Satan saw he was defeated from starting a WW111 of nations against nations, he changed his tactics to a war of terrorism. This was manifested fully when the planes were flown into the World Trade Center towers in New York City on September 11, 2001, which became known as the 9/11 terrorist attack.

BE PREPARED FOR WW111

As we enter 2021 there is talk from high up inside sources that two communist nations and one Muslim nation (China, Russia & Iran) are beginning to come together and doing things that indicate Satan is still wanting to start WW111 among the nations. I have not received any word of assignment from the Lord yet on this matter. But there is a possibility of a WW111 before the decade is over. We prophets need to keep our prophetic sensitivity alive to this possibility. I am believing God will reveal it in time to some prophets so that our nation will be prewarned and prepared for war, just like Prophet Elisha warned the king of the nation of Israel about the war plans of the nation of Syria (2Kings 6:6-12). God will do it again in these last days.

TRUMP, THE ELECTION & PROPHECY:

In Christianity two of the most mysterious and complicated ministries and personal experiences found in the Bible are prophecy and speaking in tongues. I have been speaking in tongues for 70 years and ministering in prophecy for 68 years. I wrote a book called 70 Reasons for Speaking in Tongues but did not exhaust all the benefits of speaking in tongues. I have personally given personal prophecies to more than 75,000 individuals from presidents of nations to babies in their mother’s arms. During the last 68 years, I have received more than 2000 pages of personal prophecies from other prophets and prophetic saints. 99% have been accurate and most of the prophecies have already come to pass in my lifetime. I have written three books dealing with prophets and personal prophecy, but I have not exhausted all the different aspects of the prophetic ministry. There are so many criteria for the fulfillment of prophecies. Most Christians who have never experienced or ministered in personal prophecy have a limited understanding of its operation. About the only thing they know about personal prophecy and how to judge it is Duet 18:22, which is that if it does not come to pass, then the prophet was speaking presumptuously (his own thoughts and not God’s).

WHAT ABOUT THE PROPHETS IN THE BIBLE?

Those using Deuteronomy 18:22 as their only criteria for judging prophecy would have to declare Jonah’s prophecy to Nineveh as a false or presumptuous prophecy. He prophesied that in 40 days God was going to destroy Nineveh, but it did not happen. We know from Scripture that they repented, and God postponed that judgment for 120 years, but the rest of the world did not know that. Israel was hoping the prophecy would come to pass but was greatly disappointed when their enemy was not destroyed. No doubt many disappointed Israelis labeled Jonah as a false prophet based on their knowledge of Deuteronomy 18:22. Many citizens of Nineveh went through much trauma during those 40 days, dreading something that was prophesied to happen but did not. Should Jonah go back into Nineveh and apologize to them, admitting that he missed it? How could he when God is the one that commanded him to go and even gave him the words to say?

Whether or not a word seemingly comes to pass is just one of the criteria in judging prophecy. There is timing, terminology, interpretation, application, spiritual vs. natural, and our thoughts vs. God’s thoughts about the words being spoken in prophecy.

For instance, in 1980 I had a $40,000 payment due on some CI property. I did not have the money to make the payment. The owners were getting ready to repossess the property if the debt was not paid by the due date. I went to a prophet friend who was a pastor and asked him to pray and see if he got a word about my situation. It was a long prophecy with phrases such as, “The Lord says, I am going to meet your need, for you are an extension of Me, and to deny you would be for Me to deny Myself. I will meet the greatest desire of your heart.” The money did not come in, and I lost the property. I started telling the Lord that He did not fulfill the prophecy. He said, Yes, I did! I said, “you did not because I lost all that property.” The Lord said, Go back and read the prophecy. Did I say anything about money or property? You were thinking about that property but, I was thinking of your daughter. The day after the prophecy, my daughter called from Bible college asking me if there really was a God. She was physically, emotionally, and mentally out of shape. We flew her home and had to feed her every two hours for two weeks to get her stabilized. She could have died. The Lord asked me, What is the greatest desire of your heart, that property or your daughter? (In my latest book, Your Highest Calling, I tell how God explained His purpose in allowing me to lose that property,)

WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH TRUMP & THE ELECTION & PROPHECY?

Although January 20th has not happened at the writing of this word (12-30-2020) the religious critics of prophets and personal prophecy are saying the prophets missed it concerning Trump serving a second term as president of the United States. They are declaring that the prophecies of the prophets concerning the election is either false or presumptuous based on Deuteronomy 18:22. For a moment, let us assume that Trump does not get reinstated as president in January 2021. In all the prophecies that I examined, I did not find one prophet who gave the date of 2020 or 2021 in their prophecy. Could it be that God was thinking about 2024? All believers in the prophetic were thinking 2020 election, but what was God thinking? Time will tell.

There are also examples in the Bible where prophecy did not come to pass because of the misdealing of people. God prophesied to Moses that he would take him and the Israelis into the Canaan Land. But it did not come to pass for Moses and the generation that received the prophecy because of those who would not believe and fought against the prophetic word. Remember that unconditional prophecies are only dependent upon God for their fulfillment, but conditional prophecies are dependent upon the obedience and cooperation of man. All personal prophecies are conditional. Remember that God’s thoughts, ways, and desires are so much higher than the thoughts of people on earth (Is.55:8,9).

Has it been God’s “will” for Trump to be president of the USA and be reinstated for a second term? What does it mean when the Bible talks about “God’s will”? Synonyms and definitions of will are choice, desire, purpose, decree, and pleasure. Is God’s will/desire, pleasure and purpose always accomplished? Scripture says it is not God’s will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Is God’s will/desire, choice, pleasure being accomplished? Not when so much of mankind are perishing every year as they die without Christ and end up in hell. When prophecy says it is God’s will for something to happen, it does not mean it has to happen regardless people’s actions. From all the prophecies from a score of prophets in America and several other nations, it was declared that it was God’s desire/choice/will for Donald Trump to be elected president in 2016, and all those prophecies came to pass. God’s “will” was accomplished and God’s “choice” became president of the USA. Several of those prophecies stated it was also God’s desire, purpose/will for Trump to serve a second term. After January 20th it will be determined if the will of God is accomplished in 2021 (or possibly in 2024?). Conservative Christians are praying fervently, “Lord God, your will be done.” The faithful are decreeing the word and believing it until…

GOD’S HIGHEST PRIORITY, GREATEST DESIRE & THE MOST IMPORTANT THING

In 2021 the most important thing for Christians to know is God’s highest purpose for their lives. It is not being the most successful minister, the most prosperous person, having the most comfortable life with the fewest problems, a good reputation and all the man-pleasing things that many Christians think is God’s highest purpose for their lives. God’s highest calling and purpose for a Christian is their conformity to the image and likeness of His Son, the Man Christ Jesus. God is looking for those who will allow Him to take them through the Law of Transformation and Process For Conformity to accomplish His highest purpose—”For those whom God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son that Jesus might be the firstborn among many brethren” (Rom.8:28,29). By the Spirit of the Lord, we are being transformed from glory to glory into the image of Jesus (2Cor.3:18).

Everything God allows to happen around us, in us and through us is to bring us to the likeness of Jesus even if it is a pandemic year or a biblical Job experience. To live victoriously in 2021 and on to the end, we must believe and know what Paul knew by revelation about the experiences he had in life: “For we/I know that all things work together for our/my good because I love God and are called according to His purpose, which is for me to be conformed to the image of Jesus that Jesus might be the first born among many who have become just like Jesus.” They obtained that likeness to Jesus by allowing the Holy Spirit to take them through the Law of Transformation and the Process for Conformity. Do you love Jesus? Are you called according to God’s highest purpose of you being conformed to Christlikeness? Then you have the assurance of God’s unfailing Word that all things have to be for your sake to develop more of the Christ life within you (2Cor.4:15-17; 1Peter 4:15-17 James 1:2-4).

2021 YOUR UNDERSTANDING & ATTITUDE FOR A VICTORIOUS LIFE

If you have this revelation, then you can make it through anything without fear of the present or future happenings. You will know that when God is for you, nothing can be against you. It can only be instrumental in conforming you more to the likeness of Jesus. Paul’s greatest goal and passion was to be conformed to Christlikeness (Phil.3:8,10,14). After all the sufferings, hardships and trials Apostle Paul experienced, he could still say the sufferings of this present life are not worthy to be compared to the glory/Christlikeness that shall be revealed in me (Rom.8:18)

Please enter 2021 fearlessly with boldness and confidence so that the joy of the Lord can be your strength for you have nothing to fear but fear itself. What is the will of God for you in 2021? “Rejoice evermore and in all things give thanks for this is the will of God for you” (1Thess. 5:16,18).
